Having problems with downloading or opening the Zip files?
1. PROBLEM: If you have to put a password in for every file or every time you access the files from the zip download or zip won't open right.
First make sure you have the latest zip program for your computer. Don't assume you do. Check to see if you do.
Having to access the password everytime should not happen and is not normal.
We have found 3 solutions. One is get an update to your zip program you have already. Sometimes when you have an older zip program it is not very compatible with a newer zip file and needs to be updated.
The 2nd solution is to download the WINRAR program. Please check with your computer professional to insure this program will work for your computer. There are several versions at this link. Pick the right one for you. Most have FREE programs to try before you buy.

Now we haven't had any problems with WINRAR 3.81 so far or with people we know that have used it - Read below anyways.
The 3rd solution is Stuffit for Windows.

2. You didn't immediately go to the download page because you click out of the page too soon or web page never came up or payment processor didn't complete the cycle to take you to download page.
We will get you the download page or the link to what you ordered as soon as possible. 98% of the time we should have the link to download to through e-mail within 12 hours or less. Sometimes we'll call you if you are in the states and leave your phone number.
3. If you can't download the Zip file(s) at all and you get no error message.
Check your anti-virus program or windows security or broswer to see if that is blocking the download. They might be too restrictive to download bigger files or any files at all. Also make sure you can turn pop ups off on your browser so you can download files. Sometimes you have to allow the files to download by activating scripts. Let us know if none of these work by e-mail or call (801) 274-0744 - 24 Hours a day. Leave a message if you get to voice mail with name, phone number and what the problem seems to be if we are not immediately available. (this is Persistent Success business phone who supports The Neville Project.)
4. Disk too full error.
Usually means you have run out of Hard Drive space on your computer. You can get a rather inexpensive external hard drive at www.Amazon.com or www.Buy.com
5. If you get an error in downloading like Http 403 Forbidden.

or call (801) 274-0744 to let us know. We will get your order out as soon as possible to you as soon as
humanly possible. We are sorry for the inconvenience. It is only temporary.
The page would look like the picture below. Our links for downloads need a type of permission slip to download.
Once in a great while the link expires or has been configured wrong. We apologize if this happened to you. We will
get it out to you as soon as we can as we are available. We will make your class or workshop available to you as
soon as possible. Also try other links on the page – they might work instead to get you started. All workshops have
2 different ways to download - One Complete BIG FILE or several smaller files. The workshop
is the same either way.

6. When you can't open the Zip files once you downloaded them.
Almost all of the zip files have a password that is required to open the zip file. Each page will tell you the password in a big bright box or clearly stated on the page more than once usually. If you shut the page before recording that password then files will not open. Make sure to keep the page open or e-mail us below for the password if you shut the window where you download the files too early.
It could also be that there was a interference on your network so the files became corrupt as you downloaded them. Sometimes all you need is to delete the last downloaded file completely and then download the file again.
The best place to download the files are to your desktop so there is a very small pathway for your zip program to see and easily opens them in our experience.
Also make sure you have the latest zip file program you can get. This zip file was built with WinRAR. It will open on a Macintosh with the latest stuffit program and possible the latest Apple zip program (see Number 1. above for links)
If you have a PC near by Unzip the zip files on a PC and then put them to a USB drive where it use both PC and Mac. Then load them onto Mac hard drive and then into iTunes.
7. Can't open PDF files once they are downloaded
and unzipped.
Most likely the Adobe reader is older one and
needs to be updated at www.adobe.com
LEGAL FINE PRINT NOTE: I understand that The Neville Project (www.nevillelecturehall.com.com) or any of its agents or representatives are not liable and this website doesn't give any warranties expressed or implied that any zip program will work on your computer nor are we responsible for any type of damages if these programs aren't the right ones for you. Check with your computer guru.
8. We recommend first for the easiest downloads and unzipping of the files to save the zip files to your desktop. Get the password by either cutting and pasting or type it in exactly as it appears. Make sure you open your files into a folder and then make sure they play on your computer and open from there.

9. When double clicking a Zip file you see "flashing" that will not stop If you double click a Zip file and see something flashing on your monitor, be assured that this is not a behavior that WinZip itself would cause. It may be that the Open With dialog displayed at some time, you mistakenly chose Internet Explorer as the application to open Zip files, and the box to Always use this application... was checked. If this happened, anytime you try to open a Zip file by double clicking, Internet Explorer will try to open it and fail over and over again causing this flashing to occur. You may be able to fix this using Default Programs.
